Privacy-First Protocol

Zero-G Protocol is committed to protecting your privacy. As a decentralized interface, we operate with minimal data collection and maximum transparency. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect names, email addresses, or IP addresses. Zero-G Protocol operates as a decentralized interface without traditional user accounts. You interact directly with the Cardano blockchain through your own wallet.

We do not require registration, KYC verification, or any form of identity disclosure. Your privacy is protected by design.

2. Blockchain Data

Your transactions are public on the Cardano blockchain. When you use Zero-G Protocol, all swap transactions are recorded on the Cardano blockchain, which is a public, immutable ledger.

Anyone can view:

  • Your wallet address and transaction history
  • Token balances and transfers
  • Swap amounts and timestamps
  • Smart contract interactions

This is an inherent characteristic of blockchain technology and not specific to Zero-G Protocol.

3. Local Storage Only

We use local storage only for your settings. The following preferences are stored locally in your browser:

  • Theme preferences (dark mode settings)
  • Slippage tolerance settings
  • Interface customization options

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

4. No Cookies or Tracking

Zero-G Protocol does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not monitor your browsing behavior, collect usage statistics, or create user profiles.

5. Wallet Connection

When you connect your Cardano wallet to Zero-G Protocol:

  • We only request read access to view your public wallet address and token balances
  • Transaction signing requires your explicit approval through your wallet
  • We never have access to your private keys or seed phrase
  • You can disconnect your wallet at any time

6. Third-Party Services

Zero-G Protocol may interact with third-party services:

  • Cardano RPC Nodes: Transaction data is broadcast to blockchain nodes
  • Wallet Providers: Subject to their own privacy policies (Nami, Eternl, etc.)
  • IPFS: Some protocol data may be stored on decentralized storage

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third-party services.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no centralized database that could be compromised. Your security depends primarily on:

  • Keeping your wallet private keys secure
  • Using hardware wallets for large amounts
  • Verifying transaction details before signing
  • Keeping your devices and browsers updated

8. Your Rights

As Zero-G Protocol does not collect personal data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) do not apply. However, you have complete control over:

  • Your wallet and all associated funds
  • Locally stored preferences (can be cleared anytime)
  • Whether to connect your wallet to the protocol
  • All transaction decisions

9. Children's Privacy

Zero-G Protocol is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Zero-G Protocol constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
